The first annual “SAS Super Bowl” will be held March 12, 2022 at the newly remodeled bowling alley in Waycross, owned by Jamie Ritch McQuaig.
The bowling tournament is a fundraiser that will benefit Satilla Advocacy Services, a child advocacy center and sexual assault center, that serves victims and their families in our six-county Waycross Judicial Circuit and our First Responders and community partners in all counties are invited to participate. This will include law enforcement, GBI, fire department, EMS, DFACS, District Attorney’s office and CASA. Mrs. McQuaig has invited our First Responders and community partners to be the first participants in the new bowling alley!
The public is also welcome to watch the competition that day and enjoy the amenities of the new bowling alley.
First responders will be competing against one another for the coveted title of the Super League Award, an award for the Agency that raises the most funds. There is also an award for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for top scores at the bowling tourney. Other fun awards include the most creative outfits and the cutest K-9 award. This is a time for our First Responders to gather together for some friendly competition and see who will bring home the big win and bragging rights!
Our First responders are looking for sponsors! If you would like to show your support for your favorite team or just simply make a donation, please reach out to Satilla Advocacy Services at (912) 285-7355 or support@satillaadvocacy.org.
Satilla Advocacy Services is a 501c3 that began in 1997 and offers forensic interviews, sexual assault exams and therapy, all free of charge.
If you can help us get out the word of our fundraiser, we would appreciate it!
