Treatment for Individuals with Serious Mental Illness, Serious Emotional Disturbance, or Co-Occurring Disorders Experiencing Homelessness

The purpose of this program is to provide comprehensive, coordinated and evidenced-based services for individuals, youth, and families with a serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance or co-occurring disorder who are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness (e.g., people exiting jail or prison without a place to live). SAMHSA plans to issue 21 awards for $15,842,993 of between $500,000 – $1,000,000 per year for up to 5 years.
