| To continue the implementation of the Georgia Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan (CANPP), the Georgia Essentials for Childhood announces its Spring 2023 Communities of Practice Sessions.
The sessions are set for the following dates:
• June 6 – 9:30-11 a.m. – Safe and affordable housing for families
• June 13 – 1-2:30 p.m. – Life skills for school-aged children and youth
• June 20 – 9:30-11 a.m. – Trauma-informed training for children and youth
• June 30 – 9:30-11 a.m. – Impact of child abuse and neglect
The online strategy sessions are open to community members and professionals across the state, regardless of their connection to the state CANPP or their region’s implementation plan, with the intention of elevating these top strategies to true statewide priorities. |
