Research Review – Importance of Equity in Early Education Settings Zoom

Tuesday, April 21, 2026 @ 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Join us on April 21 at 1pm for the next research review, focused on the importance of equity in early education settings.  Research continues to show that one of the key components of high quality education settings are a diverse and engaged workforce.  Students and families are more receptive and engage more when teachers and staff are more similar; greater diversity of teachers and staff also provides broader experiences for families and children.  The importance of a diverse early childhood education workforce will be examined with particular attention to gender, race, and ethnicity.  The value to early childhood education quality, impacts on overall quality of early childhood education, and the satisfaction for teachers, administrators, and families.  In addition, we will examine some programs in Georgia that provide improved career pathways for diverse individuals and the research on the impact on individuals and the education system overall in those geographic areas.  Participants will also have opportunities to discuss challenges and successes they are experiencing in their own communities in these areas.

Please register here, noting it’s a google form.  Registrants will receive a Zoom link prior to the webinar.
