Georgia’s 2023 Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect From Prevention to Intervention

The theme for the 2023 event is Thriving Families: That’s Our Why. Join professionals from across the state in our new location, the Hilton Peachtree City Conference Center, for innovative workshops regarding prevention, intervention, and the treatment of children and families impacted by child maltreatment. CEUs requested include a maximum of 6 hours for the following disciplines: nursing, social work, LPC, LMFT, and law enforcement.

PCA Georgia and the Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta have cohosted the Georgia Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect together since 2016 and are excited to combine efforts and reach with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy to host the 2023 conference.

With complementary missions, the three organizations have worked in collaboration over many years to deliver trainings such as Stewards of Children, Connections Matter Georgia, Mandated Reporting and more. Their work together also includes development of the state’s Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Technical Assistance Resource Guide and participation in the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan.
